Client context:
A West Coast Military Treatment Facility (MTF), operating as a Tier 4 trauma center, required improved visibility into resource management, personnel forecasting, readiness reporting and medical services activity. Public references should avoid naming the base or facility.
Challenge:
The MTF faced significant challenges with resource management and full-time equivalent (FTE) forecasting due to late, missing, incomplete and inaccurate medical services activity data. These data gaps limited leadership’s ability to manage for effectiveness and efficiency.
Critical measures, including readiness levels and staff training status, could not be reported with confidence. This affected the organization’s ability to support deployment readiness for U.S. armed forces personnel. The root issue was that key operational data lived across multiple secure, disconnected systems, each containing only partial information. As a result, the analytic process was manual, slow, brittle and difficult to trust.
Solution:
Praxi rapidly deployed a flexible utility layer using commercially available core components. This layer enabled the MTF to introspect, govern, harmonize and reconcile data from several disparate systems.
By consolidating and correcting relevant system data, Praxi created a trusted operational view that supported meaningful reporting, flexible analytics and more accurate forecasting.

Praxi reduced resource allocation reporting cycles from approximately 2–3 months to 3 weeks, while improving data quality through automated correction workflows and alerts for underperformance or missing reporting.
